Accessibility statement

BeeRanked wants everyone to be able to read this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

The pages of this site are built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That is the level used by EN 301 549, the European standard for accessible websites, and by the accessibility rule for public web content in the United States.

What is built in

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the element that has focus is always visible.
• Headings, landmarks and a skip link let a screen reader move through a page.
• Text keeps a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background.
• Pages reflow down to a width of 320 pixels and stay readable at 200% zoom.
• Images carry a text alternative, tables carry header cells and form fields carry labels.

Known limits

• Articles are written by people and added over time. An image may be missing its description, or a document may skip a heading level.
• Embedded videos are played by the service that hosts them, for example YouTube, and their captions depend on that service and on the video.
